Melanie is currently Head of Strategy at Meerkats Brand Leadership Company in Perth, where she leads a team of 7 multidisciplinary strategists across brands like Brownes, Synergy, Bankwest and Youth Focus.
She has spent over 10 years working in Melbourne, New York and Perth for brands including Ford, Shell, Yoplait, Quit Victoria and National Foods. During her time at Grey New York she was Planning Director, Senior Vice President and was the Global Strategy Lead for Proctor & Gamble’s fabric care business.
DIRECTV won an Effie and two Cannes Lions during her time on the brand. She also worked on Diageo brands Ketel One and Crown Royal. She most recently presented a design thinking communications approach to suicide prevention for young men for the International Youth Mental Health Conference in Montreal.
